Kevin Almy has been making acoustic and electric musical instruments for most of his life. After graduating from the Welsh School of Musical Instrument making in 1991, he established his specialist violin business ‘Almy Violins’, in Wellington, before returning to the UK two decades later. This stylish, custom-made electric violin was commissioned by a prominent New Zealand violinist, who had it signed by the international football star, David Beckham, in appreciation of her musical talents.
